She Cracks Me Up!

I must journal this so that I don't forget it.
I just went in to check on Malaya. (Which I do WAY too many times after she has gone asleep!) I noticed this HUGE bulge from under her sheets! Malaya had stuffed about 6 stuffed animals in her gown. I think she has been around a few pregnancies and babies!! Which by the way, she is eating up all these new babies. She is lovin' it!
We are so excited for all our new spiritual family members:)

Thank you Malaya for reminding me how precious you are. Thanks for making me smile:)

Ah yes. One of my favorite childhood games. I've birthed at least 350 stuffed animals all of whom immediately went to my play school or play store (just like newborns do, right?)

There is no denying that God gives women that maternal instinct early on. I used to always stuff my shirt with a pillow, pretending to be pregnant. Cherish this memory of your sweet baby girl and share it with her one day when she really is pregnant (many, many, MANY years from now!).

I ran into your mom on Thursday. She told me about this post about silly Malaya and her "babies". Funny girl! Also, I heard a rumor that you might join your mom at the Southside retreat this weekend? Is it true? I'm still deciding whether or not I can go, but I'd really like to see you if you're going!

JOYOUS! It is very evident that she is destined to be a mommy, both physically and spiritually!
You know, I believe she came right out of the womb ready to nurture! Some girls are born shoppers, bakers, drama queens,etc...and while she might have a little bit of all those qualities...The most significant of these are definitely nurturing! You can just see it in her eyes, and feel it from her heart! Wed. night when she had to go after class..Kaylee exclaimed in a somewhat exasperated sigh..."Now who's gonna be my mommy!!?" Malaya left quite a void for Kaylee. So from early on she has not only assumed her role, with excellence and assurance, but has done so with revere by her fellow peers!
Jenny, I love you guys!

Cherish those memories! She will be off to college before you know it! Maylaya is one of the best memories I have from my first year back to teaching preschool. She is a precious child! And she always cracked me up too!
